HILTON HEAD ISLAND, SC (Friday, April 5, 2024) – As one of eight limited-field events, this year’s highly anticipated RBC Heritage Presented by Boeing will feature the top players on the PGA TOUR with no cut, as well as increased prize money and FedExCup points. South Carolina’s only Signature Event, taking place over the Harbour Town Golf Links, is proud to announce Max Homa, Viktor Hovland, Collin Morikawa, Xander Schauffele and Scottie Scheffler will be competing at the 56th tournament April 15-21, 2024.

Scottie Scheffler is number one on the Official World Golf Ranking and has earned eight PGA TOUR wins since the beginning of the 2021 season, including the 2022 Masters and last month’s Players Championship. In 2022, he received the Jack Nicklaus Award, making him the first to win Korn Ferry Tour Player of the Year, PGA TOUR Rookie of the Year and PGA TOUR Player of the Year. Scheffler grew up in New Jersey, played golf at the University of Texas and now calls Dallas home. He will be making his second start at the RBC Heritage.

Xander Schauffele is number five on the Official World Golf Ranking and has seven career wins and earned a gold medal at the 2020 Olympics. The 30-year-old is from La Jolla, California and attended San Diego State University. He has carded six top ten finishes in eight starts this season. He will be competing at the RBC Heritage for the fifth time.

Viktor Hovland is number six on the Official World Golf Ranking. The Norwegian represented his country at the 2020 Olympics and was on the 2020 and 2023 European Ryder Cup teams. He played golf at Oklahoma State and joined the PGA TOUR in 2020. He has earned six wins on the PGA TOUR, including three last season. In 2023, he won his first FedExCup title and earned victories at the Memorial, BMW Championship and TOUR Championship. This will be his third start at Harbour Town.

Max Homa is number ten on the Official World Golf Ranking. The 2023 Ryder Cup member has won six times on the PGA TOUR since joining in 2014. He grew up in California but now lives in Scottsdale, Arizona with his wife and baby. He will be making his third start at Harbour Town. His first was in 2020, when the tournament took place in June due to COVID-19.

Collin Morikawa is number sixteen on the Official World Golf Ranking. The California native has earned six victories on the PGA TOUR since turning pro in 2019. Two of those wins were majors -- his debut at the 2021 Open Championship and the 2020 PGA Championship. He represented the United States at the 2022 Presidents Cup and the 2020 Ryder Cup and Olympic Games. He will be competing at Harbour Town for the fifth time.

PGA TOUR professionals have until Monday, April 15th to commit to compete. The complete field will be posted on RBCHeritage.com at that time.
