HILTON HEAD ISLAND, SC (Thursday, March 23, 2023) – At the heart of the Heritage Classic Foundation is a history of philanthropy that expands far beyond golf. The 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization and host to South Carolina’s annual RBC Heritage Presented by Boeing, announced Rickie Fowler, Collin Morikawa, Scottie Scheffler and Adam Scott will be competing at the 55th event April 10-16, 2023. Rickie Fowler’s first PGA TOUR start was as an amateur at Harbour Town thanks to a sponsors exemption in 2008. He has earned five PGA TOUR victories, most recently at the 2019 Waste Management Phoenix Open and has three International wins. He held a share of the lead after the second and third rounds of this year’s ZOZO Championship and finished tied for second. The 33-year-old will be making his seventh start at the RBC Heritage.

Collin Morikawa is currently number eleven on the Official World Golf Ranking. The California native has earned five victories on the PGA TOUR since turning pro in 2019. Two of those wins were majors -- his debut at the 2021 Open Championship and the 2020 PGA Championship. He represented the United States at the 2022 Presidents Cup and the 2020 Ryder Cup and Olympic Games. He will be competing at Harbour Town for the fourth time.

In 2022, he was given the Jack Nicklaus Award, making him the first to win Korn Ferry Tour Player of the Year, PGA TOUR Rookie of the Year and PGA TOUR Player of the Year. Scheffler grew up in New Jersey, played golf at the University of Texas and now calls Dallas home. He will be making his first start at the RBC Heritage!

Adam Scott is currently number 38 on the Official World Golf Rankings and has earned 14 career wins including the 2013 Masters, where he bested Angel Cabrera with a 12-foot birdie on the second play-off hole.
