HILTON HEAD ISLAND, SC – Three international players who have recent wins on the PGA TOUR are the latest professionals to commit to the RBC Heritage Presented by Boeing. Russell Knox, Shane Lowry and Danny Willett will be competing for the plaid jacket at the 49th annual tournament. South Carolina’s only PGA TOUR event is being held April 10-16, 2017 over the famed Harbour Town Golf Links on Hilton Head Island, S.C.

They will be joined by past champions Stewart Cink, Jim Furyk, Matt Kuchar, Graeme McDowell and Brandt Snedeker.

Knox is currently number 18 on the Official World Golf Ranking and 12th in the FedExCup Ranking. The Scottish native enjoyed his first two PGA TOUR victories in 2016, including the WGC – HSBC Champions. He will be making his fourth start at the RBC Heritage. He finished the 2016 tournament tied with Luke Donald in second place.

Lowry is making his first start at the RBC Heritage. The Irishman won his first PGA TOUR event at the 2015 WGC- Bridgestone Invitational. In 2016, he made the cut in 12 of 17 PGA TOUR starts, with a T2 at the U.S. Open. He also made history when he became the first player to post a sub-30 score on the back nine at THE PLAYERS Stadium Course. That feat was matched by Rory McIlroy and Kevin Chappell later in the week.

Willett is currently number 15 on the Official World Golf Ranking. The Englishman began the final round of the 2016 Masters three strokes behind Jordan Spieth. A bogey-free, 5-under 67 resulted in his first win on the PGA TOUR. He represented Great Britain at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games. He will be making his first start at the RBC Heritage.
