HILTON HEAD ISLAND, SC (Monday, April 5, 2021) - The Heritage Classic Foundation, a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting educational and charitable initiatives, is proud to announce that Lucas Glover, Bill Haas, Brian Harman, Kevin Kisner, Davis Love III, Ben Martin, Will McGirt and Matt NeSmith are the latest PGA TOUR professionals to commit to the 53rd RBC Heritage Presented by Boeing. South Carolina’s annual PGA TOUR event is being held April 12-18 over the famed Harbour Town Golf Links on Hilton Head Island, S.C.

These local favorites will be joined by a strong field, including world number one ranked golfer and Team RBC ambassador Dustin Johnson, and past RBC Heritage champions and Team RBC ambassadors Webb Simpson, Jim Furyk, Matt Kuchar, Graeme McDowell and Brandt Snedeker. Also committed are top ranked Daniel Berger, Paul Casey, Bryson DeChambeau, Matthew Fitzpatrick, Tommy Fleetwood, Sergio Garcia, Tyrrell Hatton, Shane Lowry, Collin Morikawa and Lee Westwood.

Glover was born in Greenville, South Carolina and played golf at Clemson University. He now lives on St. Simons Island, Georgia. He has earned three wins on the PGA TOUR, including the 2009 US Open. He has competed in every RBC Heritage since 2004.

Haas has earned six PGA TOUR victories and was the 2011 FedExCup winner. The Greenville, South Carolina resident is following in his dad Jay’s footsteps and making the RBC Heritage a tradition. Bill, who is competing under a sponsors exemption, hasn’t missed the Harbour Town event since finishing Q-school in 2005.

Harman caught the golf world’s attention in 2012 during the second round of The Honda Classic when he shattered the course record with a 61. The Savannah, Georgia native finished the tournament tied for 12th. While attending the University of Georgia, he received two Heritage exemptions, first in 2004 and then again in 2006 after winning the 2005 Players Amateur. He has earned two PGA TOUR victories and is making his 12th start at the RBC Heritage.

Kisner has finished in the top ten at Harbour Town twice in his previous eight starts. The Aiken, South Carolina native graduated from the University of Georgia and has three victories on the PGA TOUR. The 2017 President’s Cup team member carded a runner up finish at this season’s RSM Classic after losing to Robert Streb in a playoff.

Love has earned 21 PGA TOUR victories, including five wins at Harbour Town Golf Links. The Sea Island resident and University of North Carolina graduate was only 23 when he won his first in 1987, making him the youngest champion. The 2016 Ryder Cup captain and World Golf Hall of Famer will be celebrating his record breaking 32nd start at the RBC Heritage. In 2018, he competed against his son Dru, making it the first time three generations have competed at Harbour Town since Davis’ dad played in 1969 and 1970.

Martin is competing in his seventh RBC Heritage under a sponsors exemption. The Greenwood, South Carolina native and Clemson grad has carded one victory on the PGA TOUR at the 2015 Shriners Hospital for Children Open and has earned one top ten finish in 2021. He was sidelined the 2019-2020 season with a back injury.

McGirt was born in Lumberton, North Carolina and played golf for Wofford College in Spartanburg, South Carolina. He now calls Bluffton, South Carolina home. His one PGA TOUR victory came at the 2016 Memorial on the second hole of a sudden-death playoff with Jon Curran. He is competing under a sponsors exemption and has carded three top ten finishes in his previous eight starts at the RBC Heritage.

NeSmith joined the PGA TOUR in 2020 and was one of just eight rookies to qualify for the FedExCup Playoffs. The North Augusta native played golf for the University of South Carolina and carded his first professional win on the 2019 Korn Ferry Tour. He made his RBC Heritage debut in 2020 finishing tied for 33rd place.
