HILTON HEAD ISLAND, SC (Friday, March 19, 2021) - The Heritage Classic Foundation, a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting educational and charitable initiatives, is proud to announce that Paul Casey, Matthew Fitzpatrick, Tommy Fleetwood and Tyrrell Hatton are the latest PGA TOUR professionals to commit to the 53rd RBC Heritage Presented by Boeing. South Carolina’s annual PGA TOUR event is being held April 12-18, 2021 over the famed Harbour Town Golf Links on Hilton Head Island, S.C.
They will be joined by Team RBC Ambassadors including, world number one ranked Dustin Johnson and past RBC Heritage champions Webb Simpson, Jim Furyk, Matt Kuchar, Graeme McDowell and Brandt Snedeker.
Paul Casey is 17th in the Official World Golf Rankings. The Arizona State University graduate, who splits his time between Phoenix and Weybridge, England, has earned 16 international victories and three on the PGA TOUR. Two of his wins were back-to-back at the Valspar Championship in 2018 and 2019. His 2021 season is off to a great start with four top ten finishes thus far. He is competing in the RBC Heritage for the sixth time; his first start since 2018.
Matthew Fitzpatrick’s Official World Golf Ranking is 16th. The Sheffield native joined the PGA TOUR in 2020 and has already carded three top ten finishes in 2021. He earned a spot in the 2014 RBC Heritage at just 19 years old by winning the 2013 U.S. Amateur, and was the number one amateur at that time. The now 26 year old will be making his sixth start at Harbour Town Golf Links this year.
Tommy Fleetwood is ranked 22nd in the Official World Golf Rankings and has carded six international victories during his career. The Englishman has carded four second place finishes on the PGA TOUR including the 2019 Open Championship and the 2018 US Open. He will be making his second start at the RBC Heritage.
Tyrrell Hatton’s Official World Golf Ranking is 8th. The Englishman has earned six international victories and carded his first win on the PGA TOUR at the 2020 Arnold Palmer Invitational. He was a member of the 2018 European Ryder Cup team and has earned two top ten finishes in 2021. He will be competing at Harbour Town for the fourth year, after finishing tied for third in 2020.
