54th ANNUAL RBC HERITAGE IS APRIL 11-17, 2022

BILLY HORSCHEL, SHANE LOWRY AND LEE WESTWOOD COMMIT

HILTON HEAD ISLAND, SC (Thursday, April 1, 2021) - The Heritage Classic Foundation, a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting educational and charitable initiatives, is proud to announce that Billy Horschel, Shane Lowry and Lee Westwood are the latest PGA TOUR professionals to commit to the 53rd RBC Heritage Presented by Boeing. South Carolina’s annual PGA TOUR event is being held April 12-18, 2021 over the famed Harbour Town Golf Links on Hilton Head Island, S.C.

Horschel, Lowry and Westwood will be joined by a strong field, including world number one ranked golfer and Team RBC ambassador Dustin Johnson, and past RBC Heritage champions and Team RBC ambassadors Webb Simpson, Jim Furyk, Matt Kuchar, Graeme McDowell and Brandt Snedeker. Also committed are top ranked Daniel Berger, Paul Casey, Bryson DeChambeau, Matthew Fitzpatrick, Tommy Fleetwood, Sergio Garcia, Tyrrell Hatton and Collin Morikawa.

Billy Horschel has earned six victories on the PGA TOUR including a win at last week’s WGC – Dell Technologies Match Play. He was crowned the FedExCup champion in 2014 after winning the BMW and TOUR Championships. He is ranked 17th on the World Golf Rankings and will be competing in his ninth consecutive RBC Heritage.

Shane Lowry has carded two victories on the PGA TOUR including the 2019 Open Championship contested in his home country of Ireland for the first time since 1951. He defeated Tommy Fleetwood by six shots to become the second major champion from the Republic of Ireland. He also has three international wins and will be making his fourth start at Harbour Town.

Lee Westwood has two victories on the PGA TOUR but has earned 42 international victories. The Worksop, England native now lives in West Palm Beach, Florida. Ranked 20th on the World Golf Rankings, his 2021 season is off to a great start, highlighted by a runner-up finish at The Players Championship. He hasn’t competed in the RBC Heritage since 2005.
